Kurpfalz Boarding School on the go: Class trip of 9a and 9b
A week full of team spirit, adventure, and shared experiences – the 9a and 9b classes of the Kurpfalz boarding school had a varied class trip that combined learning, culture, and a lot of fun.
Classes 9a and 9b of the Kurpfalz boarding school spent an unforgettable week on a school trip from September 29 to October 3, 2025. The focus was on teambuilding, experiential education, and cultural experiences – a combination that created many special moments for many.
On the first day, the trip went to Kehl, where the students had to solve various tasks in groups during an exciting city rally. This activity not only promoted teamwork but also helped to learn about the city and its attractions in a playful way.
On Tuesday, we continued to Strasbourg. After a walk over the Rhine meadows, the group reached the city via the Europa Bridge. There, the students were able to explore the cultural highlights of Strasbourg through a digital Actionbound and demonstrate their teamwork. A subsequent boat tour on the Ill offered the opportunity to experience the city from a completely new perspective and to end the day in a relaxed manner.
Wednesday was all about fun and adventure: The classes at Europa-Park Rust were greeted with thrilling rides, laughing faces, and unforgettable shared experiences. These impressions strengthened the sense of community and created plenty of enthusiasm.
On Thursday, the trip led to Freiburg. There, the students learned about the history and culture of the city during a city tour, before they had time to explore Freiburg on their own. A special highlight was the visit to an escape room, where team spirit, logic, and creative thinking were essential – and the groups had to solve exciting puzzles together.
The class trip of 9a and 9b was a complete success. It combined shared learning, fun, and valuable experiences in a positive atmosphere. New friendships were formed, existing ones were deepened, and everyone returned with many beautiful memories. A week that demonstrated what shared experiences at the Kurpfalz boarding school can mean – community, a spirit of exploration, and lots of cohesion.
