Class trip to Ringsheim
Kurpfalz Boarding School on the move: Class trip of the 9th grades to Ringsheim
From Monday, September 29, 2025, to Friday, October 3, 2025, the two 9th grades of the Bammental Secondary School set off for the south. The destination was Ringsheim on the edge of the Black Forest. The students were accompanied by their teachers. The journey was made using the school’s own KPI buses – and already on the way there, the atmosphere was excellent.
After a short stopover, the group reached the climbing wall in Kenzingen on Monday. After a professional introduction by the trainers, the students were able to try out various routes of their own choice and demonstrate their skills. In the evening, the successful first day was rounded off with a joint dinner at the Italian restaurant.
Tuesday was all about water – or rather: water slides! After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, everyone set off for an exciting day at Rulantica, the water park of Europa-Park. Here, too, the young people were allowed to move freely in small groups and try out numerous attractions.
On Wednesday, the big highlight of the week followed: a day at Europa-Park Rust. Roller coasters, shows, and countless experiences created many happy faces and lasting memories.
Thursday became more cultural. During a city tour of Freiburg, the students got to know the historic old town and learned interesting facts about the famous “Bächle” and the Freiburg Minster. Afterwards, there was still time for personal explorations and a stroll through the city. The group concluded their last evening with a lively musical event at the planetarium.
After a final joint breakfast on Friday morning, it was time to say goodbye. The journey back to Bammental went smoothly – and in our luggage were many beautiful memories of a varied and thoroughly successful class trip.
