The last school day at the Kurpfalz boarding school was once again celebrated this year with a special tradition: the big barbecue party with the final round of team games. In a relaxed atmosphere, students and colleagues came together once again to kick off the summer – with music, movement, team spirit, and lots of good cheer.

In the twelfth and final round of the team games, the Sharks showcased what they are capable of once again. They took home seven first places, thereby setting a spectacular finale. But in the overall standings, it was just not enough for the win. With a consistently strong performance throughout the entire school year, the Grizzlies were able to maintain their lead and rightfully secured first place in the annual rankings.

As the winning team of the 2024/25 school year, the Grizzlies will represent the Kurpfalz boarding school in the upcoming school year at the Champions League of team games against Schloss Torgelow. We sincerely congratulate both teams – the Sharks for their strong finish and the Grizzlies for their commanding overall victory.

In addition to the major sporting finale, the best players from the last evaluation period were also honored. Her teamwork skills, her commitment, and her fair play were acknowledged with much applause and recognition.

A special highlight was the two student bands, which energetically bid farewell to the school year with lively rhythms and lots of stage presence, stylishly ushering in the summer vacation. Due to the changeable weather, the barbecue party took place this time not outside, but in the cafeteria. The good mood did not diminish this at all – people still ate, laughed, and celebrated. The bands provided real concert vibes in the atrium of the new school building and turned the finale into an atmospheric experience.
