Successful exchange: Economic juniors from Heidelberg as guests

On February 25, 2025, the Junior Entrepreneurs of Heidelberg visited. The Kurpfalz boarding school as part of the “WJ Career Compass” project. The goal of the event was to provide students with practical insights into different career paths through personal success stories and to support them on their own journey. The Junior Entrepreneurs placed great importance on open and honest communication on equal footing.

The Junior Entrepreneurs are about 10,000 entrepreneurs and leaders under the age of 40. They are globally networked and present locally as the largest network of young business people in Germany, with around 215 member circles. The “WJ Career Compass” is organized by the member circle Heidelberg.

Meet and Greet

Six dedicated speakers shared their personal professional journeys with the students. In small groups, two of them presented their individual career paths, discussing challenges, successes, and important decisions. A relaxed atmosphere was intentionally created, allowing the students to freely ask questions and receive honest insights into the speakers’ everyday work lives.

After the presentations, there was an opportunity for personal conversations over pizza and cold drinks at the student café. Here, the junior entrepreneurs engaged with the students on equal terms, sharing additional experiences and being available for individual questions. Exciting discussions arose, characterized by mutual interest and openness. The relaxed atmosphere was further enhanced by music and a spontaneous table soccer round. The mood was so good that the event was briefly extended.

Guests included:

  • Vincent Fischer (Management Consultant and Co-CEO of Modell Aachen GmbH)
  • Benjamin Sharif (Auditor and ESG Consultant, Xcellence GmbH WPG)
  • Julia Staudenmaier (Tax Consultant, Tax Consulting Staudenmaier GmbH)
  • Anton Berizzi (Auditor and Tax Advisor at KEIPER & Co. KG WPG, STBG)
  • Tobias Philippi (Head of Sales DACH at DAZN Group)
  • Paul Muck (Managing Director of Muck Automotive GmbH)

The Kurpfalz Boarding School had the honor of serving as a pilot project for the “WJ Career Compass.” The event was a complete success and provided valuable new impulses for both the Junior Entrepreneurs and the students. The “WJ Career Compass” once again demonstrated how important the exchange between the economy and young talents is – a benefit for both sides! Due to the great success, the Junior Entrepreneurs Heidelberg should definitely offer the event at many more schools. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
