Summer School: Overview
Summer School: Roaring Start!
During the summer holidays, the Kurpfalz boarding school offers a two-week summer school for students in grades 5 to 12 who have knowledge gaps in a subject. For over 50 years, our summer school has been a successful blend of intensive morning classes and an attractive leisure program in the afternoon and evening. We are starting the holidays with great strength…
2 weeks – Maximum 10 students in the class
In a two-week intensive course, we help you close the knowledge gaps that have developed over the years and become successful again. We take the time to address your academic problems and show you that learning can be fun.
The Summer School Principle
Combination of lessons and cool leisure activities The mornings from Monday to Saturday are reserved for classes. As a Summer School participant, you choose a subject: German, German as a foreign language, English, French, Latin, Mathematics, Spanish, or dyslexia training. In the afternoons and on weekends, our supervising team organizes a leisure program that makes the Summer School an unforgettable experience.
You choose what you enjoy.
In the Summer School, you can choose between various action modules from the fields of sports, creativity, or science that will accompany you throughout the two weeks. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons are reserved for your action module.
Fun and action guaranteed
On Wednesday, there are joint excursions, sports events, and other community activities planned. On Sunday, everyone will go together to a nearby amusement park – action and fun guaranteed.
Modern Campus
The boarding school campus is exclusively reserved for the Summer School during the holidays and leaves nothing to be desired! You can look forward to well-equipped classrooms with interactive boards, a sports field, two gymnasiums, a fitness studio, workshops, project and community rooms, a disco, and a student café.
Cozy rooms
During the Summer School, you will live in the modernly furnished dormitory rooms of the Kurpfalz Boarding School, one of the leading boarding schools in Germany. Typically, you will share your room with a fellow student.
Intensive care
Boys and girls have their own living areas on campus. Each area is led by two female or male mentors who provide care in an understanding manner – but according to clear rules.
