In a time when the world seems to be falling apart, children and adolescents need a framework that provides them with guidance and support. At Kurpfalz Boarding School, it is important to us to instill a solid value system in our students that empowers them to tackle the challenges of the future. They learn to take responsibility for themselves and for others, to stand out in the community, and to achieve the goals they have set for themselves.
Provide orientation
We help our students recognize who they are and who they want to be. We encourage them to believe in ideals and values that they have identified as right and good for themselves, and that motivate them to develop their potentials and take advantage of the opportunities that the Kurpfalz Boarding School offers.
Our goal is the holistic development of the personality. In the boarding school, individuals learn teamwork, consideration for others, and the assumption of social responsibility – skills that are essential for community living.
Our students are accompanied by trained educators who aim to support young people in their personal development. They receive attention, understanding, care, and advice from them, but they must also fight for their own space and learn that there are binding rules for everyone.
Clear daily schedule
The clearly structured daily schedule provides students with a fixed framework that offers them guidance. Here, classes, homework times, tutoring sessions, and extracurricular projects have their place, just as do the free spaces that offer individuals the opportunity to withdraw or spend their free time with friends.
The Kurpfalz boarding school is characterized by a familial atmosphere in which the students feel comfortable. They notice that the adults they live and work with appreciate them as individuals and that their roles as teachers, mentors, trainers, workshop leaders, janitors, and cooks are fulfilled with joy.

Take on social responsibility
Our students take on responsibility as student or mentor representatives, represent the interests of the community in the student parliament, or create projects and programs as Blue Lions, or assist younger students with their homework.
With regular activities such as the annual Christmas market, our students and staff support the children’s hospice Sterntaler e.V. and other donation projects.
When love for the boarding school goes through the stomach.
Florian Grünzinger, our head chef, used to work in Michelin-starred restaurants and offers a diverse menu daily. The morning begins with a delicious breakfast buffet featuring everything the heart desires, lunch includes various main dishes, a diverse salad buffet, and dessert. In the evening, there is a wide selection of warm and cold dishes. Vegetarians or students with allergies and intolerances receive a special meal tailored to their needs.

Classes at the Kurpfalz boarding school have no more than 10 students.
In classes with no more than TEN students, our dedicated teachers take the time for each individual. Here, everyone can ask questions, and everyone is asked. Our teachers explain, review, and have patience. In the individual atmosphere of the small learning group, everyone receives the attention they deserve.
We see the POTENTIAL, not the weaknesses.
Thanks to the effective teaching and the focused work atmosphere, our students benefit more from their classes. They learn that problems can be solved, successes are motivating, and school can be fun. The positive feedback strengthens their self-confidence and motivates them to realize their potential.
