During the Summer School, you will live in modern furnished dormitory rooms at the Kurpfalz Internat. Generally, you will share your room with a female or male classmate. Occasionally, there are also triple rooms. Boys and girls have their own living areas on campus. Each group is led and supported by two mentors in a caring manner – but according to clear rules.

From experience, we know that love for the boarding school goes through the stomach. Our cook values good food and pays attention to healthy, vitamin-rich meals. If you are a vegetarian, we also offer you the possibility of a meat-free diet. There are four meals daily: a buffet breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Our sports field and sports hall provide ideal conditions for being active in sports, whether the weather is good or bad. Project rooms and common areas offer space for afternoon activities. Furthermore, there is the opportunity to relax together in the student café, celebrate in the disco, or enjoy an exciting movie.

On the only course weekend, all participants stay at the boarding school. Saturday is a regular course day. We have reserved Sunday for sleeping in, outings, and games. The beautiful Kurpfalz boarding school campus, with its modern and well-maintained boarding houses, is exclusive to the participants during the Summer School.

The Summer School Survival Kit

For the Summer School, our students need to bring:

Student ID for discounts
Textbooks for the enrolled subject and, if applicable, for the alternative subject as well.
Notebooks and writing materials
Bedding (3-piece, duvet and pillow are included)
Clothing, laundry, towels, sports and swimwear
Gym shoes for the sports hall
Toiletries
Sports equipment for the chosen afternoon program (rental equipment available on request)
Outdoor sports shoes
Additionally, the participants should receive approximately €50 to €70 pocket money weekly. Upon request, the money will be deposited into a student account and withdrawn as needed.
