The Kurpfalz boarding school has been an expert in reviewing educational material for over 50 years in its two-week Summer School. In the Summer School courses, you will be supported individually in groups of a maximum of 10 students from fifth grade to the secondary school diploma level. After classes, a varied leisure program awaits you. The modern school building and the boarding campus are exclusively reserved for the holiday course during the summer vacations.

The Summer School Success Concept

At the Kurpfalz boarding school, we have time for your problems. No more than ten students share the attention of their teacher. Our experienced boarding school teachers have time for you, to review, explain, and show patience. In the intense atmosphere of the small group, you will quickly notice that effort leads to success, and that success motivates. This gives you new self-confidence and brings back your joy.

The small group size allows our teachers to recognize your personal challenges in the subject. Differences between the curricula of the federal states are taken into account, as well as recommendations from your subject or tutoring teacher at home.

The course program in the morning: Closing gaps

We take the time to address your academic problems. In a two-week intensive course, we help you bridge the knowledge gaps that have developed during the last school year or over the years and become successful again. Unlike tutoring during the school year, you have the time and peace in the summer holidays to work on the fundamentals without the pressure of the next exam. We promise you many aha moments, dedicated teachers, and lessons in small classes with a maximum of ten students.

The offered course subjects

As a Summer School participant, you choose one of the subjects German, German as a Foreign Language, English, French, Latin, Mathematics, or Spanish. In this subject, you will have three lessons of 40 minutes each daily. In addition, there are three 40-minute homework sessions during study time. Lessons and homework periods alternate. Our teaching program is complemented by a method training that helps you learn more easily and efficiently in the future. Since 2014, we have also offered an intensive course for individuals with dyslexia.

The mornings are reserved for classes from Monday to Saturday. In the afternoons and on weekends, our supervision team organizes a leisure program that makes the Summer School an unforgettable experience.
